My name is John Parr

I am a traditional IT software development consultant with 40 years experience in diverse technical, cultural and polictial landscapes

Beyhond architectural and software development skills I bring hard learnt and undefinable grey skills

I always work in small software delivery teams providing both resource and operational insights to my colleagues

Some of my enemies and friends are frictions, inexperience, confirmation bias, corporate patterns, assumptions, frustrations, compromises, deception, humility, wisdom, tolerance, patience, humour, failure, forgiveness.

Learning is continuous. I have no magic and give no guarantees but together I know we can be stronger. In every new project something always comes to suprise and challenge me bother personally and professionally.

I dont define what success looks like, I leave that to others

There is no perfection only progress - The journey is the goal
